About this course

AI Tools Academy is a free, no-login course for working adults who want to use everyday AI tools properly at work: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini and Power Automate. It assumes no technical background, explains every term the first time it comes up, and is honest about what these tools get wrong.

Why it exists

Most people meet these tools with no guide and give up after a couple of disappointing answers. This course takes you from the basics to confident, work-ready use, one clear step at a time, with real workplace examples and safe sample data so you never have to paste anything confidential to practise.

Who made it

Built and maintained by Tom Ayed, an AI Champion mentor who trains and assesses apprentices in exactly these tools across dozens of UK employers, and who uses them daily in his own work.

How it's kept current

These products change most months. Every lesson shows the date it was last checked against the live product, and the What's changed page logs what was updated and why. Where a detail moves often (prices, exact menu labels), the lessons point you at the official page rather than freezing a number that will go stale. If you spot something out of date, please tell me. This course lives on corrections.

What it costs and collects
